Artist Confidential Green Room Episode 38: Foreigner
2 July 2008, 4:49 pm
When they formed in 1976, the band consisted of 3 British musicians and 3 Americans that inspired the name: Foreigner. The band charted major hits starting with the debut album in 1977 and continued for 10 years. The list of hits reads like a who's-who of dashboard anthems: Cold As Ice, Feels Like the First Time, Head Games, Jukebox Hero, Urgent, I Want to Know What Love Is, and many more. Foreigner is still rocking millions of fans on tour more than 30 years later, and they talk about their journey through Rock & Roll history with George Taylor Morris on a brand new Artist Confidential. They'll play some of their hits, a brand new song they've included in a Greatest Hits anthology that's coming out on July 15th, and tell some exclusive stories about a band that's sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. The full one-hour Artist Confidential with Foreigner can be heard all day on Monday, 7/7 on XMX Channel 2, and you can listen to it for free by signing up for a free trial of XM at xmradio.com/podcast

19 June 2008, 5:14 pm
One of the most successful rockers in Canadian history, Bryan Adams continues to blaze a musical trail. And to top it off, he happens to be an award-winning photographer. But tens of millions of people might be most familiar with Bryan Adams for his most recent appearance, on the finale of this season's American Idol, when the guys sang a medley of his hit songs. His latest album is called 11 - you'll hear some of Bryan's new songs along with his hits and his story in his own words on XM's Artist Confidential.

Artist Confidential Green Room Episode 34: Phil Vassar
5 June 2008, 4:15 pm
Phil Vassar could have just made a career in writing country songs. After all, in the late '90s he co-wrote hits for Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, Alan Jackson and more. But in the year 2000, Phil Vassar the singer debuted, and his first album had five hit singles, including the number one hit "Just Another Day in Paradise." Since then, it's been one hit album after another. His latest is called Prayer for a Common Man, which has already produced another top 10 Country hit: "Love is a Wonderful Thing." Special guest host (and legendary Country singer/songwriter in his own right) XM's Bill Anderson sits down with Phil for stories about performing his music, life on the road, what it takes to write a great song, and a lot more. The full one-hour Artist Confidential with Phil Vassar can be heard all day on Monday, 6/9 on XMX Channel 2, and you can listen to it for free by signing up for a free trial of XM at xmradio.com/podcast
