Are you serious? The same thing happened to me. I got kicked out for "foul language" even though that wasn't one of the restrictions when I signed up.
I proposed a trade to someone who wasn't active in the league, and they ended up accepting it. He got all in a tiff about it, and had everyone vote whether the trade should go through. He set a deadline when all the votes had to be in, which wasn't met. So of course, being the proper cunt that he is, he extended the deadline.
After I complained in a crass manner about his inappropriate behavior, he booted me.
So I hope huge dicks give him aids. He is an asshole. |
Same thing happened to me in the NFL league and he thus banned me from participating in any other of his leagues. |
Does he still post on here? I'd like to send him a PM if so. |

Here is what I posted on this year's XM League board about last year:
What happened last year was..
August:
IceSoxx took over for Walt as commish...
December:
...he edited the line-up of a 100% inactive team to improve it the week it was playing against IceSoxx's nearst rival in the standings...
...then it comes out that one of the other managers is his phantom "roommate"; how convenient, a person that never existed either before or since....
February
... then, the 100% inactive team makes it's only move of the entire year: After having never made a single team adjustment since Sept.8th (as shown on the manager list), it accepts a boffo trade from GFC (glacierfan) at the beginning of Februaury, thus erupting the league into a big argument (GFC was simply trolling for trades and was, himself, stunned that it was accepted). When the trade is voted down (by a slim margin, mind you) GFC is beside himself...
....GFC - who, at this point, was in either 1st or 2nd place out of 16 teams - insults IceSoxx, the commish in the aftermath of this veto, so since IceSoxx is on the playoff bubble at this point, his next move is to lock out GFC less then 24 hours before he is about to run into the GFC buzzsaw. with no vote, no discussion...
....there is heated discussion on what to do with the GFC roster at this point: the 4 most active managers (of which I was one) are quite vocal about the ruining of our season. Other successful, or fairly active managers are astonishingly mute at this time, unfortunately...
...finally it is decided to simply leave GFC's roster as is (although commish came within a whisker of deciding that he would set the GFC roster for the rest of the season - of course he states this at the end of the week that he is playing him!); commish also really wanted to dump the roster to FA, ring a bell MyFi??
.....commish also subtly adjusts GFC's roster from time to time throughout the remainder of the season....
...strangely, at this point, XMRossy from XM radio makes a couple of terrible trades with, who else, commish and phantom roommate; "WTF !?" is heard echoing down the halls of the league message board...
April
....GFC still makes the playoffs...
... commish doesn't win an apparently desperately wanted e-trophy (although phantom roommate does)...
June/July/August
....IceSoxx, despite being a daily poster on XMFan for the last couple years, posts only a few times over the course of the entire summer - slowly disappearing into the cracks...never to be heard from again....
September
....Finally the Yahoo Leagues are back up. The very day the league is back open, I send IceSoxx an e-mail from it reminding him to get things going; there is no reponse...
....I PM IceSoxx at XMFan, I e-mail his direct e-mail from mine, I even post a message at the XMFan forums - all with no response except that I am suddenly locked out of the league....

....somebody, somewhere on some message board has enticed a good handful of members to join the 3rd season of a Yahoo-based hockey league; of course, what they don't know is that there is a phantom rommate involved.... |
