We should have nationalized our oil supply long ago, but if the Tea Partiers could deal with the smell of the Occupiers, they could work together and get congress to pass a law.

It seems that only socialist governments nationalize industries.

It seeems also that our biggest federal GSEs don't work very well. You know, Fannie, Freddie and the Postal Service.

And you want more of that?

Is there anything that you do NOT want the government to fuck around with?

Well I guess the chart pretty much proves the Republicans can't do anything right.

If you guys can't do anything why did we send you there?

Oh yeah, now I remember, you guys are supposed to fix Washington and balance the budget whenever you get around to passing one.

Yes; now that I look over the list I am definately being rounded at the extremity.

I am worried about Hoax; he might have dropped dead at the Club.
I've been trying to keep him alive since Sueaded passed and took all the good obtuse stuff with him.

I guess I can't ignore the obvious...

Might as well look at cakes.

I think he liked horses and I like chocolate eyeballs...

I asked pinkcakebox.com to come up with something appropriate...

That will never do.
He sure liked to get down in the mud and wrestle the girls around here; so I guess this one could work ...

R.I.P. you poor misunderstood martyr.
I will think of you every time I see wolfmans avitar...

no thanks - we don't need more nationalization - we've already started to go down that slippery slope

Not surprising at all. I paid $4.85 for 91 octane for the FJ yesterday.

This guy is the worst president ever.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/03/03/obama-fuel-efficiency-answer-to-rising-gas-prices/?cmpid=cmty_fb_Gigya_Obama%3A_Fuel_efficiency_an_answer_to_rising_gas_prices

Obama: Fuel efficiency an answer to rising gas prices

Quote:
President Obama says vehicle fuel economy standards set under his administration and better cars built by a resurgent U.S. auto industry will save money at the gas pump over the long term, a counterpoint to Republican criticism of his energy policy.

In his weekly radio and online address Saturday, Obama said Detroit automakers are on track to build cars that average nearly 55 miles per gallon by 2025, doubling current mileage standards.

"That means folks will be able to fill up every two weeks instead of every week, saving the typical family more than $8,000 at the pump over time," he said. "That's a big deal, especially as families are yet again feeling the pinch from rising gas prices."

So we sit and wait for Detriot to fix the problem over the next 13 years and pay $4.33 a gallon (what I paid today in California)?

But this line takes the cake:

Quote:
"That's a big deal, especially as families are yet again feeling the pinch from rising gas prices."

We are in this mess because of his policies, and he stands there and says we're going to do nothing while you feel the pinch for the next 13 years! Rolling Eyes

I swear he is doing this on purpose to try and price gasoline out of the enegry equation.

I have the answer:

Drill baby Drill!

Yup, high gas prices are exactly what obama wants. He even said so publicly.

This incompetent fuck needs to go.
