hi,
does anyone know why we still do not get CBC RADIO of any kind even on this newly amalgamated service.as i have said before this is a publically funded service and should be available to all Canadians,i think it was only offered on Sirius at one point but now with one service i still think it is unavailable? it is funny we can get NPR which is great but not CBC on satellite in Canada! mind boggling! any thoughts on this? map47 |

Bigger issue, the only change that happened after the Canadian Sirius XM merger was the addition of Voices radio(replaces Score Radio on sirius and Parrolle radio onXM) on both services which was mandated by the CRTC. Otherwise the services are exactly the same pre-merger.
I get the feeling that in Canada they will operate separately for a long time to come.

After Sirius and XM "merged" in the U.S. the channels didn't merge right away either. It'll happen in due time.

The last few weeks I've been listening to CBC Radio 3, good music. I think both CBC Radio and CBC Radio 3 will make it over to the XM dial.
