I've been listening for several minutes (ch.76) with no problems. No buffering, no clicks/pops, no difficulties.
Perhaps you had some transient problem, maybe a bandwidth issue between you and the server. Of course that sort of thing is very difficult to pin down.
FYI, there has been a new build of the beta player since Apr.14, and it seems to be greatly improved. I started a new thread here http://www.xmfan.com/viewtopic.php?t=117843 to keep the comments for the new build separate from the old build. You might want to move over to the newer thread.
Hope your player is OK by now; if not, I'd say it's something semi-local to you, because it's working absolutely fine here. (I am on a Verizon 768kbps ADSL in central PA.) |

The other day while listening to The Loft on the beta player it got stuck in a loop of a Meredith Brooks song. _________________ "A State of Sundays" on Electric Area SXM-52

Looks like they officially launched the new online player- when you hit Listen Online, it opens the new player with no 'beta' in the address.
But, I'm not getting any functions to work except pause. Start Now, FF and Rewind are not available on any channels. Anyone else having issues? |

They finally updated their awful online radio player! I was always so annoyed with the channel bar that had these tiny slivers you had to click on for the channels...the new player is so much easier to use with big ole' buttons.
I noticed that when you select a channel you're not getting the live channel...? You have to click on "Go Live" to switch over to what's currently playing on the radio. I don't understand it but no matter, I'm pretty darn happy with the changes. |

Has anyone else gotten the new player with the On Demand shows? It just showed up for me within the last few minutes.

I just got home, and launched the player in IE9, and also have the new look. |

I still don't have it on IE8, IE9 or Chrome, and even from a different IP address.

Wait, I just tried the old /beta URL and now I have it. I had been trying the public siriusxm.com/player site. _________________ The one and only, XMFan.com!
