A 28 hour flight delay in Portland, Oregon thanks to United Airlines. He's not a happy camper- not due back to Jersey until 1AM  |

John 5's latest- 'God Told Me To'
John William Lowery (born July 31, 1971), best known by the stage name John 5, is an American guitarist. His stage name was bestowed on him in 1998 when he left David Lee Roth and joined the industrial metal group Marilyn Manson as their guitarist, taking over from Zim Zum. Still going by the name "John 5," Lowery is currently the guitarist for Rob Zombie. He also works as a staff writer for Chrysalis Records, working with artists such as Matt Ball, Avril Lavigne, Rob Halford, k.d lang, Garbage, Meat Loaf, Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, FeFe Dobson and has written and recorded with southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. |

These had to have been two of the best interviews I have ever heard on his show. They even had the bus driver which was interesting conversation also. In my opinion, this was the best four hours of Trunk Live (or Nation) I have ever heard.

Yea, I didn't know much at all about John 5, but what a history this guy has! His stories about David Lee Roth were interesting to say the least>

Eddie will open tonights show with a set of Deep Purple in tribute to the late great Jon Lord. Deep Purple is still not in the R&R Hall of Fame- I'm sure Eddie will have plenty to say about this!
Anton Fig(Letterman's drummer & played on 2 Kiss albums) in studio at 6:30 ET, Mark Tremonti( lead guitarist and a founding member of Creed and Alter Bridge) will call in live at 9P ET. Busy Eddie Trunk Live tonight at 6ET SiriusXM 39 |
