Hi All

I'm using the roof-mounted magnetic antenna that came with my Pioneer Airware. It also mates to my Roady 2, which is what's currently in the car.

I just bought a Sirius unit for the car; it also mates directly to the same antenna.

My questions are
-is there an antenna splitter that allows me to use the same antenna for both the Roady 2 and the Sirius One?
-what are the drawbacks to using one antenna for two systems?
-does an XM antenna work well for picking up the Sirius signal?

Thanks in advance.

There is a splitter that will allow you to do this, but I don't believe it will work with the antenna that you have now, at least not without modification. Here are links to the parts you'll need:

There aren't really any drawbacks to using a splitter, that I know of. People have been able to use a XM antenna with a Sirius receiver, I personally haven't tried it.

I use the XM antenna for my Sirius radio and it works just fine. An antenna is an antenna...they're both doing the same thing. If you get the stuff and it works without too much modification let me know so I can try it too Very Happy

Check your local TA Travel Centre for the best price on the splitter.
