Forgot all about this one:

http://www.pandora.com/

You basically create your own radio station by selecting artists you like. You then get a station consisting of songs by those artists and other artists. You can then fine tune by selecting whether you like or dislike songs as they are played.

Again, another great site that slipped my little brain;

AOL.

Not only they have their own stations but provide links to other stations throughout the US.

Here’s another nice 80’s channel:

http://lost80s.com/index.php

Still a sure bet that this is better than the current 80’s on 8. Plays it all plus “current: songs of 80’s artists.

Enjoy.

For you 70’s fans, like myself, there is:

105.7 WROR
http://www.wrornothinbutthe70s.com/

Their home page states:

WROR is harnessing the power of HD Radio, providing you the highest fidelity ever available and even more choices. "Nothin' But The 70's is a celebration of the music and pop culture of the 1970's. Whether it's Rock, Soul, Disco, Top 40 Hits, or B-sides, if it was made in the 70's, you'll hear it here. Featuring a lot of songs you haven't heard in a long time, it will bring back memories. And, of course, it's free.

I have to vote for "AccuRadio Wide Playlist" substations on the oldies group.

Good thing about this Web station is....

if I hear one of those Sickius on Sicks overplayed tunes, I can skip it with a fast forward button.

I listen to Country Heritage on AccuRadio. It is mighty repetitious, but you will often hear tracks from this incredible collection: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005EQQE/accuradio/

Hi,

Does anyone know of a internet radio station the plays both MOR along with Rock and Roll from the 1950s through the early 1960s? The stations that I have come across covering this period either fall into one of the two categories: Pop music or Rock and Roll.

Since I'd rather listen to 80's music, I'll stick with the online options when I'm at my computer until SiriXM can expand their playlist. In fact, I think I'll go check out Club FM right now.
