I don't believe it. They actually butchered HNIC!! You don't show the first half of an all night event, DUMBASS!! You cut out the Cherry-McLain report between games and the way that led right into the second game! If you don't want to show the whole thing from 18:30 to 01:30 (EST), THEN DROP THE WHOLE THING AND PUT IT BACK ON CENTER ICE IN IT'S ENTIRETY!! HNIC is an institution. Many of us look forward to this each week during the season. If this is what you're offering us this season, I'M NOT BUYING!! You can keep your Center Ice Package and your NHL Network. I used to like watching NHL Live each day,(recorded it every day), but now E.J. and Don are part time/some time show ups, so that's gone too.

I wish I could have seen it. As one of the twenty or so people in America without satellite or cable TV, I am out of the loop.

Thankfully one of the digital channels up here in Northern Minnesota carries some of the Wild games on the local Twin Cities channel, or I wouldn't even know what Nik Backstrom looks like as he's being hung out to dry.

I heard Bettman on 204 the other day say that the reason they decided to chop up HNIC was because "THE FANS ASKED FOR IT!?" Do you really expect us to believe that crap?! He said they ran a survey,(I'm on the survey list), and the fans polled said they WOULD RATHER WATCH ON THE FLY! On the goddamn fly is on all of the the time! Every day! Day or night! WHY CUT UP HNIC FOR A SHOW THAT'S ALWAYS ON ANYWAY?

I'll tell ya why. They want us to buy the NHL network for the first half of HNIC and then buy Center Ice for the second half. Pardon my french but, YOU CAN BLOW ME GARY

Congratulations Gary. You've finally found a way to attack your core fans. Today was the last day for Center Ice to be free and I was prepared to call my cable provider,(like I've done for the last six years), and tell them to "TURN IT ON BABY". Now, you can keep the "New NHL".

Sure, I'll watch for free. It was stated that the 24th was the last day and you had until the 31st to get your "discount". I called my cable girl and she told me the "early bird special" would cost $163.80,(wierd amount eh?). If I waited until 11/1 then the full price would be $171.60,(again, wierd eh?). So, you'd be saving $8.00?! Where's the incentive?! If you wait until 1/1/10 it'll be $119.00. If they fix HNIC by then, I might relent and buy in,(Bertuzzi is looking awsome this year and I'm going to miss him ).

Well, they did show the between games Cherry-McLain report this last Saturday night, but when I looked ahead to next Saturday, they aren't going to show it again this coming Saturday.

I heard on the Bettman Hour that he said that he would look into showing the between games stuff,(because so many people are complaining), and he came through this last weekend. But why not show it again this weekend?! Jeeze-o-petes!
