I subscribed to XM simply for the NHL coverage; seven years later I still am an avid fan of the channel 92. Even though though there is an "east coast bias" - I am a SJ Sharks fan - the coverage is comprehensive; entertaining & FUN! Listening to a variety of games; from "far away" home play by play announcers; is very enlightening ... & , FUN. |

Reno, I will have to agree. Even though I'm a Sirius subscriber, just the fact to have access to NHL if I"m driving, would be amazing. I listen to my teams any time I'm driving, or if I don't have TV access. And the great thing about NHL(I'm sure they have NHL Live on the NHL channel), they really do provide a full league perception. They still have the East Coast Bias, per se, but I do see my Coyotes on NHL Live, and they are up front and honest with them, and care.
The fact that there is 24/7 NHL coverage would be good enough for me though! Oh yeah, Coyotes > your Sharks!!!! |

Well, there are more teams in the East. I hear plenty of Canucks, Sharks, Ducks and Kings talk in the afternoons, which is when I usually listen. That's it for the West Coast, four teams. The NHL has 16 teams (of 30 total) in the Eastern time zone. How can there NOT be more discussion of those teams? |
