This isn't XM related but needs the attention.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO KEEP ON THERE TOES DRIVING AND WALKING AROUND THIS HOLIDAY SEASON. DON'T CHANGE CHANNELS WHILE DRIVING THROUGH A BUSY PARKING LOT. I ALMOST GOT HIT TWICE TODAY. SO EVERYONE JUST DRIVE SAFE AND HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON.

Forget about having XM. Even if you are listening to stinky FM, watch what is going on. I have already gotten rear-ended by a car load of older ladies yacking while they were backing out of a parking lot. I have seen people running red lights, going through stop signs and talking on cell phones while they were driving around packed parking lots. Christmas+winter weather = serious accidents. BE CAREFUL FELLOW XMers so we can all be here for the new year!

Whatever....

You all don't have to deal with the population of your community doubling to almost 200,000 people for the winter. We get all the old people from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Minnesota, Wyoming, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, et al, in their Winnebagos towing a Geo Tracker that drive 19 miles an hour everywhere they go because they can't process moving in three dimensions that fast. That and their stupid poodle riding on their lap while they drive. Left turns from the straight lanes, right turns from the straight lanes, no signals, just drift on over when they're good and ready, and they seem to have a problem with 'Right Turn ONLY' and think they can just squeeze back in before they hit the curb on the other side.

*grumble*

We just got back from going to lunch at Taco Hell. Some numbskull ahead of us, waiting to make a left out of the parking lot, decided to put it in reverse and backed up into the car infront of me. Then the goober preceeded to pull forward out into the middle of the steet. he stopped his car and then got out to inspect the damage. The confusion grew when the light changed and oncoming traffic came to a halt because of einstien out in the middle of the road.

The poor guy was so confused, he got back in his car and laid down. Didnt move his car. He wouldnt open his door for anyone. Not sure what happened, but I was able to drive over a curb across a median to get past this nightmare.

Always be careful how you drive. You have to be more careful of how others drive.

That's one of my favorite idiots on the road. Those who back up in the middle of a road because they either missed their right turn and refuse do something illegal (turn at the light/stop sign) and decide to back up to the yield and take it instead.

Unfortunately those people are always right in front of me and don't realize that they have rear-view mirrors for a reason. Not using rear-view mirrors means they'll hear the nice audible sound of my horn!

Glad to say I've never been in an accident of any nature -- people just need to learn how to drive. I'm all for a driver's license retest every 10 years, and that's including a hearing/vision test.
