$100 Sony rebate.

On the rebate it says to go to www.sonyrebate.com to check the rebade status, but it leads to a crappy search site with ads. Will I even get this rebate? I sent it yesterday, sales receipt dated on December 30th. I printed the rebate form from the pdf on the xmfanstore site.

I sent my rebate in over a month ago and was starting to get worried as it wasn't showing up on the website www.rebateshq.com . I just checked a couple of days ago and low and behold there it was. So I guess I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have a problem with the rebate.

Now just to wait 20 months to get it in the mail.

I sent my rebate in on Dec 22 and 2 days ago I got an e-mail with a link to rebateshq stating my rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing. I should get my rebate per the terms of my coupon.
I also get nervous on these rebates especially $100. I called the number on the coupon and they said to wait 6-8 weeks before calling about my rebate. Luckily though they are processing it earlier than that for me.

It's http://www.sonyrebates.com -- the extra "s" is for "savings", I guess.

I got an e-mail giving me the tracking number two weeks after I sent in my material. When I check the site, they tell me "Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing. You should receive your rebate per the terms and conditions listed on the coupon", so I guess I should expect a check in another 6-8 weeks.
