From LARadio.com 2/9/04...

Traffic in Space.

Starting March 1, XM Satellite Radio's 1.4 million subscribers will be able to hear 24/7 traffic reports for 21 cities. Former KRLA and KABC talk show host Kenny Morse, a.k.a., "Mr. Traffic," is helping them develop and beta test this service. “The service will be far more comprehensive than ANY local traffic report on the 1's or 4's or ANY minute,” emailed Kenny. “This will be on demand full coverage of the Los Angeles freeway and local street trouble spots, with each report lasting many minutes until ALL roads the listener ACTUALLY wants to hear, is covered.” Later this year, expect a “Driving Channel” on XM where people can ask the most famous comedy traffic school teacher and media driving safety expert in America, question about issues ranging from buying cars, traffic citation problems, and any issue in the world of driving. More info is available at WWW.MRTRAFFIC.COM. XM Traffic is looking for experienced traffic reporters who might be willing to relocate to DC. The pay is competitive with Metro and other traffic services. You can contact Kenny for further information.

Does this mean my XM will drive my car for me? Is there anything XM can't do?

WOW could XM get any better, what's next live feed from the NASA channel? or for all you Avaition buffs they could offer live air traffic control feeds, it just gets better and better.
