When I opened up my bill yesterday from XM that I recieve every 3 months, I noticed something, it was cheaper than it has usually been! As I was looking through the charges, I noticed, they didn't charge me the $2.00 for the invoice! Possible glitch in their computer database? I've never had that happen, and didn't know if it has ever happened to anyone else. So, for this quarter, I got myself two bucks shaved off the ol' bill! Very Happy

If you don't link your account to a credit/debit card, they will add a $2 invoice charge. They're not trying to rip you off-- it's just the cost of doing business. They have to hire someone to open your envelope, sign your check, add the money to your account, etc.

I understand that, what I'm saying is, they DIDN'T charge me the $2.00 for the invoice. I've ALWAYS paid the $2.00 fee in the past, until yesterday when I got my bill for the next 3 months, and there wasn't a charge for the invoice! I was all like, "WEEEEEEE!"

Actually, I believe the invoice fee is to cover the cost of sending out paper bills. Not everyone who receives a paper bill mails then a check for payment--for example, e-payments through the bank's web page eliminate the need to have someone do the same degree of clerical stuff.

I shall enjoy these 2 dollars! Very Happy (Maybe in June when I get my next bill they won't charge me for the invoice again, and I'll have profited $4! Weeee!)

This must've been a system-wide glitch for all subscribers who recieve an invoice! They'll more than likely see it, and when we recieve our next invoice, we'll be billed an extra $2.00 from the previous, making that invoice charge $4.
