Came when they said it would. Installed in less than 5 minutes (after I found the proper driver). Works as advertised.
I bought Timetrax today, also. Wow. What a combo.
I have had XM in the cars since their first month of operation. I missed out on the original PCR's due to apathy....... thinking that they would always be around. I am now going to encourage everyone I know to look at this PCR solution.
Thanks for a great product and first class customer service.
Regards,
Wayne |

Looking forward to mine arriving, soon I hope.
I, too, missed out on the original PCR because I figured they would always be around.
I have plans to hook it up to a mini-ITX motherboard and set up a little media center for my house. |

Well.... looks like you and I are the new guys on the block. From me to you.... welcome.
Now. Your project sounds interesting and I want to go right along with you. Would you be interested in starting a new thread on that subject and we can offer a work in progress type report.
I am a null on this stuff but very willing to spend the time and effort. This might be a way for me to contribute to this community and at the same time get some much-needed help on this project.
Hope you say "yes" ;=)
Regards,
Wayne |

Sounds like a plan.
I'll post some info when I get a chance to try out the hardware this week. |

I see. So your multiple posts all over the forum excludes you from the title of spammer?
My reason for the posts were to bring to light the importance of the differences between the two products being that this is a forum for hardware and developement and that no one seemed to be pointing out any clear differences between the two products.
As for your comment on which product was available now, which seems to answer my previous spam questions, thanks for the info. That was helpful.
Does anyone know how long it took to get DirectPCR from order date to the date they received? |

| Maybe you ought to read the thread your posting in. There is info at the top of this very page about how long it took. Btw the direct works with alot of different software applications. The TT one works only with theirs. Does this answer your questions? |

ahijado:
I was the first person to order the DirectPCR (by phone) the day it was announced. I live in Canada and it took about 10 days from order date to delivery. Well-packaged, seems well-made. I am a very satisfied customer to this point.

ahijado,
If money is no object... buy an xmpcr on ebay!
I don't think anyone would argue that the xmpcr is bad =) It was - I think the coolest xm product out there until xm nixed it.
also, check your inbox. |

My DirectPCR bundle arrived today & it's great! There were no instructions, but it was pretty obvious which connector went where.
Right now I'm using it with XtreMe PCR and it's quite nice, but ultimately I'd like to use it on Linux on a dedicated media server box. If anyone has any software suggestions for Linux, let me know. |
