Does anyone have this? My father expressed interest in and wanted me to check it out for him. Nothing exciting to me, but whatever. My questions are:

1) Is this just a big piece of bloatware?
2) Can he choose which functions to install instead of installing of all of them? (For instance he already has virus protection software)
3) Can this piece of junk be uninstalled after it is installed?

Answers to these questions or any other feedback are appreciated.

More info:

Thanks

I have verizon dsl but I do not have Yahoo I have the MSN deal. I think you can choose between the two. With the MSN it gave me choices as to just what I wanted to install. MSN can be A little taxing on an older computer, but I like it. I have a P4 2.4 gig cpu and a gig of ram but it ran well when I had 512 megs of ram. I loaded everything it came with except the virus software. Why? I do not know. Bonk Never use 90% of the stuff. I am very happy with my verizon dsl service. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks. Yeah he already has Verizon DSL but got a thing in the mail saying he could *upgrade* to Verizon Yahoo DSL for free. That’s what that link is I posted. It looks like you just download some software and it gives you some extra features kinda like MSN or AOL.

Thanks for you help

I had the yahoo installed on one of my kids pc. After about a week he asked for me to remove it. He refered to it as a lame AOL.... Laughing
