Of all the artists listed, I've heard of all but 3 of them, however, I do not know most of these songs, at least by title.
So to me, it is a handful of better-known material mixed in with mainly more-obscure tunes from mainly bands I heard of. If this is what Deep Tracks is setting out to do, then it's doing its job well.
I tune into 40 a couple of times each day to see what's playing. I don't listen to it as much as 41 & 51, but I do like it. |

| That is an interesting selection of songs. Deep Tracks goes much deeper than I thought. It is a great channel for the serious classic rock fan. |

In reading the playlist I discovered that I could remember what I was doing at the two or three points in the day where I was within hearing range of my boombox, always on in my room...more interesting than it sounds?  |

| I love the covers on Deep Tracks. How was the Stones' cover of Good Times, Bad Times? Jerry Garcia's I Saw Here Standing There sounds interesting, too. |
