Okay people, we need representation too. Let me know what you think about our goaltending. The loss in Edmonton last weekend wasn't Dom's falt. The whole team looks dead. I swore several times during the game, the Wings looked like they were defending against a PP,(when they were actually @ full strength). Anyone know what the hell is wrong with them? I've heard speculation that the team as a whole isn't buying into Babcock's system any longer. I'd like to hear your views.

I've always liked Turco. What happened to him in the playoffs last season?

After watching the San Jose and Dallas games from the end of last week, I'll have to say they're back to being the Wings again. Gobs of hustle and swarming the puck carrier.

I went to the Wings game against Ottawa yesterday, Darren McCarty hung out after the warm-up skate like he always did and flipped a few pucks into the stands. When he was the last player on the ice everyone in the building stood up and applauded him. Can anyone think of another player that can go into another team's barn and receive cheers like that?

When we go to Detroit, we always go to the Boardroom downtown. Ever been there? The owner,(no longer owner), was able to help us out with seats and I noticed his kids wearing Darren's sweater. I asked them why he was their favorite player. They told me he is their neighbor. He's keeping his home in Detroit and I hope he gets his financial situation figured out. I thought about getting his Calgary sweater, but with free agency the way it is, I've decided against buying any more sweaters. I've bought something like 30-40 sweaters the last three years and already have several that no longer apply.

I always like beating Sergei Fedorov. 4-1 Saturday was sweet. Seems like we're getting scoring from across the roster this year. We're going to need it with Shannie's 40 goals going to N.Y.

I don't think I would go so far as saying that. I admit he and Pavol have had a slow start, but they'll come around. Hang in there!

While watching the Dallas-Calgary game last night, I saw where Dallas's PP ranks 22nd, so the problems with scoring is making the rounds so far this season.

Well, all streaks end. Our nine game win streak ended and so does this five game losing streak end. I haven't watched the game yet, but after listening to 204 today, they're still having trouble with turnovers. I watched the Calgary game last night and there were a lot of stupid cross ice passes in our own end. Getting sloppy!

We continue to lead the league in shots allowed. I guess that's good for Dom. I don't like the fact that when the backup is playing, Dom is standing over on the bench IN STREET CLOTHES!!! How many teams have you ever seen where the starter DOESN'T EVEN DRESS FOR THE GAME?!

I gotta remember not to geek about everything. The goal is to make the dance. I believe we'll do that, so I should just sit back and enjoy the ride, right? I can't.

Two short handed goals in the third? Goddamn, you see why I am ranting about Mike Smith?

Red Wings are the biggest dicks in hockey, and I'm glad you got your asses handed to you first round by the Oilers last year. Can you imagine if any other US city put "hockeytown" at center ice?

Anyone catch the HNIC presentation of the Wings-Leafs? Don & Ron HATED the game. Don said,"...at least they won't have to play the Wings for another three years..." Detroit was on the PP for practically the whole first period. Fourteen Power Plays.

I didn't get to see Stevie when he made people like him so much they painted the side of a building in downtown Detroit with his likeness. I didn't come onboard with the NHL until January 2003. I have to assume, with so many saying he's a shoe in for first time ballot Hall of Famer, that he was great at one time. Here's to you Stevie! Cheers
